Rodger Young Flight Deck Chair

A Rodger Young Flight Deck Chair seen in Paul Verhoeven’s satirical 1997 sci-fi action film, Starship Troopers. Set in a militarized future, humans fight for their survival against an army of gigantic alien bugs. Chairs of this style can be seen in the cockpit of the Rodger Young corvette transport ship that is piloted by Carmen Ibanez (Denise Richards). This futuristic chair is made from fiberglass with black foam padding and has been painted a green shade of silver. On the back of the headrest is a decorative triangular sticker logo.
