Jean-Pierre Jeunet

Jean-Pierre Jeunet is a Frenhc director, who starts by directing numerous advertisements and music videos.

Jeunet and his friend Caro's first feature film was Delicatessen in 1991, followed by the incredible The City of Lost Children in 1995, that led to the invitation to direct the fourth Alien film Alien Ressurection in 1997

 

Jeunet then directed Amélie in 2001, and was a huge critical and commercial success worldwide and was nominated for several Academy Awards. For his work on the film, Jeunet won a European Film Award for Best Director.

In 2004, Jeunet released A Very Long Engagement, an adaptation of the novel by Sébastien Japrisot.

In 2009, he released Micmacs and The Young and Prodigious T.S. Spivet

Jeunet is back to his first love with the sci-fi genre as he is preparing a news scifi movie.
