Original Luke Skywalker and Tusken Raiders Tatooine Long Rifle from Star Wars : Episode IV

The rifle is hand-carved from solid wood with metal banding, and the barrel portion has been painted silver to resemble steel. This exact weapon can be seen in armory photographs at Bapty & Co., who supplied the majority of the blasters and other weaponry for Star Wars during the early production period. Measures fully 76 ½ in. long. This hero rifle was used by Mark Hamill and Tusken Raiders in Star Wars. It can be seen in the early part of the saga strapped to the side of Luke’s Landspeeder, when Luke and C-3PO search for R2-D2 prior to meeting Obi-Wan Kenobi for the first time. Luke also used it prominently as he defends himself in the thrilling hand-to-hand battle with the Tuscan Raider, before Obi-Wan saves him.
