Mega Maid Ear Canal Original Matte Painting

Screen-Used Oil Matte Painting on Masonite in Frame. There has never been a name more legendary in the art of movie matte painting than that of Albert Whitlock, who personally trained the two cofounders of Illusion Arts Studios, Syd Dutton and Bill Taylor.

In this screen-used painting, the studio renders a scifi tunnel in reality Mega Maid (Spaceball One) canal ear through which the heroes escape at the end of the film.
