Rick Deckard's Original Costume (Harrison Ford)

For a lot of movies' fans nothing defines a character better than his costume. It couldn’t be more appropriate than in the case of this particular suit. With this suit it's even more obvious. Harrison Ford wore these jacket, shirt and tie throughout the movie. It is featured prominently when Deckard gives the Voight-Kampff test to Rachel in Tyrell's office.

Some details bring a futuristic touch to the jacket: its colour, the stitches on the sleeves, the back or the extra layer on the left shoulder. But the cut is classical to reflect the true nature of Deckard, a film noir detective of the 30's surviving in a neo-punk world of the future. This costume was tailor made for Harrison Ford.

These grayish brown striped pants have an internal Ital Costume, Hollywood label typewritten “Ford Harrison.”

It's a creation of the designer Charles Knode. Working with Ridley Scott  allowed the talented Charles Knode to design unique costumes and bring something new to the world of Science-fiction.
