Duros Alien Mask Replica

The Duros a tall, thin species with large eyes, a slit of a mouth and no noses. Well experienced space travelers, they haul cargo and supplies to Imperial installations for the Empire.

George Lucas, who envisioned the bustling alien cantina before he’d even come up with a plot for Star Wars, actually shot the scene twice: Once in London, and then the following year in Los Angeles, with a whole new cast of alien creatures. The finished scene is a combination of the two shoots, and the photographs show the breakdown between the makeups created by Stuart Freeborn’s English crew, and those made by Rick Baker’s American crew.

The Duros mask was made by Rick Baker team from an orginal Ron Cobb concept art.

This museum replica mask made of latex and foam was taken from the original mold.

We also have in our archives the original Duros Spacesuit.
